Former adult superstar Houston, famous for her prom date with a Howard Stern show radio listener, would like friends and fans to know she is battling an aggressive form of cancer. After a diagnosis of stage 3 metastatic melanoma, Houston had surgery at City of Hope in Los Angeles in early July and is looking at a summer of chemotherapy with the newly approved cancer fighting drug Interferon.

I will contribute and I will keep positive thoughts and energy focused on you. Strangely enough, I was readinga series of essays by AA Gill and your name came up with his adventures in porn filmaking.
God bless you!
Dearest Kim,
It's Donna and Danielle. A mutual friend of ours forwarded your blog to us last night and I was and still am in shock. I can't even imagine how you are feeling, but know that you have every right in your heart and mind to go through the emotions. But, you are one strong woman and I know you will beat this. So, screw the diagnosis crap and start thanking the universe for your healing and start healing your body from the inside...It would make us really happy if we could get back in touch. Maybe see you when you are in LA? I'm not sure where you are right now. Danielle misses Dallas and would love to have her come stay for a weekend. There's a jacuzzi here :) I moved up in the hills away from that bldg finally into a townhouse. I miss you and think about you everyday. I wonder how you are, what you are doing, how gorgeous Dallas must be - Danielle is taller than me now - what kind of car you're now driving, if you still buy Collectible Barbies for yourself, what color your hair is, etc. My email is dfr71121 at yahoo dot com and I am on facebook (you should have one of those pages too to get the word out - it's amazing for networking and free - I just joined last week).
Please get back in touch with me so I can be there for you. I love you, always have, always will.
Donna
Wow, just read this. Won't sit here and say all that feel good stuff and all, in the end it's what you make of it. So you have a 30-40% chance. You need to focus on what doctors tell you to do, keeping yourself occupied alot, and keep living life. If you sit in the house all day you'll just crawl up the walls and I bet keep searching WebMD or some other website 'till you go crazy!
There's nothing wrong with being scared, it's normal. So keep fighting; do whatever you love to do; take up a hobby you've never thought you'd try. I'm not , nor have even been in your spot, so i can't be honest and say i've been in your shoes. BUT keep fighting. No matter what happens, as long as you keep fighting, you won't lose.
So, I happen to help out on artie lange's website. I'll be more than happy to try and do whatever I can to help get the word out see if we can do anything ...

Dear Kimberly,
You crossed my mind while I was surfing the web when I saw your latest website. Needless to say I was shocked, saddened and very upset regarding your recent medical condition. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery. I know that you will prevail and get better because you are tough and deliberate, qualities that I have always admired in you. take care, Gordon Martines, Las Vegas, NV
Kim,
It was wonderful to see you and hug you the other night. You are as beautiful and strong as ever.
Love you, Love you, Love you!!
